Trelaget 100mg Tablets (Trelagliptin) is a pharmaceutical compound belonging to the class of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors, you can use it in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).  This medication is designed to improve glycemic control in adult patients with T2DM by inhibiting the enzyme DPP-4, which is responsible for the rapid degradation of incretin hormones such as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).

Therapeutic Effects:

The Trelagliptin exerts its therapeutic effects by prolonging the action of endogenous incretin hormones, particularly GLP-1, which leads to increased insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner and decreased glucagon secretion, ultimately resulting in reduced blood glucose levels.
