How to use Respomatic Dry Powder Inhaler Devices:

DPIs do not require the hand-breath coordination of a pressurised MDI. They are breath-actuated, meaning the medication is delivered to the airways when the user takes a deep, rapid inhaler. DPIs typically require rapid, forceful inhalation; for some patients, this may make using a DPI during an asthma attack more or less challenging.
The powdered, non-liquid medication particulates in DPIs are so minute that they can reach the smallest airways. You might not be able to taste or sense the particles. People with a milk allergy should be aware that they contain lactose residues.
